I wanted to love these
I have been trying all the grass-fed beef sticks I can find and these came up in my search. I liked what I read about the company and they had great reviews! The promo deal was a great chance to try them out. But they were awful tasting. Honestly, the worst meat sticks I've ever tried. I couldn't even finish them. The texture was weird and the spice blend made them unpalatable. I wouldn't buy them again unfortunately.

Jalapeno is the way to go
The first package I was sent had a few moldy sticks. Apparently, there was an issue with the packaging not being sealed properly. A replacement order was sent and the beef and beef jalapeño sticks were very good. The pork with cracked pepper was pretty good. And the turkey sticks were inferior but much better than the moldy ones I was initially sent. I would order the beef and pork sticks again but would shy away from the turkey offerings.

Original Beef Sticks Vs Original Turkey Stick
The Original (OG) gave more flavor profiles than was expected. Having only had the regular gas station brand beef sticks I was pleasantly surprised by the bright, well-rounded, delicious flavor it gave. I love how the end had a slight bight that I find from black pepper that I add to mashed potatoes. I compared the OG with the OG Free Range (OGFR). I tasted the OG first so I could see if there was any difference. The OGFR was moister and the flavor was delicious and more level than the OG. The difference in flavor is most likely because the OG is beef and the OGFR is turkey. I could see myself eating a lot of the turkey whereas with the beef I would only want one or two. In summary, of the two flavors that I tasted so far, I prefer the OGFR. This is just due to my personal preference for the taste of turkey over beef. I am excited to see what the other flavors taste like and I will be back for more of the Turkey sticks.
